Anemone
Daniel Day-Lewis returns to acting in a movie called Anemone. This rated R drama is about the complicated relationships between fathers, sons, brothers and others. Old wounds and buried secrets resurface. Trauma and loyalty are also explored. And the film is directed by Daniel Day-Lewis’s son, Ronan.
Killing Faith
In Killing Faith, rated R, Guy Pearce plays a doctor who doesn’t believe in much of anything. But he agrees to guide a desperate mother and her sick daughter across a dangerous desert. The mother, played by DeWanda Wise, is trying to reach a remote preacher-physician played by Bill Pullman, hoping he can cure her daughter’s mysterious illness.
Bone lake
Bone Lake is an R-rated thriller. It all starts as a romantic lakeside getaway that quickly turns into a nightmare when a couple has to share their vacation house with another mysterious couple. Things get intense fast with secrets, lies, and a fight for survival.
Good Boy
The PG-13 movie called Good Boy is a haunted house story told from the dog’s point of view. When Indy the dog moves with his owner Todd from the city to an old country house, he immediately senses something’s wrong. As supernatural things start happening and Todd begins acting strange, Indy has to protect his best friend from whatever evil is in that house.
Coyotes
Coyotes, rated R stars real-life couple Justin Long and Kate Bosworth. They play a couple trapped in their Hollywood Hills home when it’s surrounded by a pack of killer coyotes.
The Lost Bus
In the R-rated movie called The Lost Bus, streaming on Apple TV plus, Matthew McConaughey and America Ferrera star in this true story about the 2018 Camp Fire in California. It follows a bus driver and teacher who had to get a bus full of kids to safety as the deadly wildfire destroyed the town of Paradise.
The Smashing Machine
The Smashing Machine stars Dwayne Johnson as real-life UFC champion Mark Kerr. Emily Blunt portrays his girlfriend. The film follows Kerr during his peak fighting years as he battles addiction and relationships while trying to hold onto success, love, and friendship. The Smashing Machine is rated R.
