Staud is leaning into nostalgia this month, teaming up with Varsity Los Angeles — a shop specializing in throwback staples — on a pop-up that celebrates the city’s love for vintage.
The L.A. brand has curated “Staud Varsity Blues,” an edit of T-shirts, sweatshirts and accessories styled alongside its denim and Tommy bags, as well as ceramic pieces created by cofounder and creative director Sarah Staudinger.
“Vintage has always been a passion of mine,” said Staudinger in a statement to WWD. She personally handpicked the selection. “With Varsity L.A., we curated an edit of Ts, sweatshirts, and more to live next to some of my favorite things — our denim, boots, my ceramics — alongside the return of some of our most iconic Tommy bags. It’s about full wardrobing and building pieces that work together effortlessly, which is the core of what we do at Staud.”

Running from Saturday through Oct. 31, the pop-up is hosted at Staud’s L.A. flagship, 8409 Melrose Place, where visitors can shop the limited edit and experience the brand’s signature mix of playful, modern design with vintage inspiration.
For Varsity L.A., teaming up with Staud is about bringing vintage into the contemporary conversation.
“Partnering with Staud lets us introduce vintage to a new audience — people who appreciate the craft and storytelling behind a great vintage piece,” said Varsity L.A. founder Justin Ingalls. “This partnership presents vintage to a new customer in a thoughtful, modern way.” Together, the brands aim to create an immersive pop-up experience that honors nostalgia while making it relevant for today’s fashion-minded shoppers.
