At least 69 people have been killed by a 6.9-magnitude earthquake in the Philippines, according to reports. The earthquake struck the city of Cebu and the neighboring region of Laoang in Northern Samar at around 10:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at a depth of 10 km (6.2 miles), the Philippines’ Office of Civil Defense (OCD) announced in a post on Facebook.
