The Gilded Age

Statement eyes took center stage this season, and a golden touch seems to be the eye look du jour. At Prabal Gurung, delicate gold flecks were carefully placed on the eyelid, perfectly balancing bare lashes, a natural complexion, and pale pink lips. The trend could also be seen at Collina Strada.
The Gilded Age

At Ulla Johnson, jet-black mascara was swapped for a DIY gold mascara. Makeup artist Romy Soleimani combined a buttery gold eyeshadow from Sisley and a mixing medium and applied the gilded liquid with a fan brush to coat lashes.

Bows are still trending: We’re buzzing about the delicate pink bows expertly placed in models’ hair at LoveShackFancy. Celebrity stylist Brent Lawler crafted the playful, feminine looks on behalf of Batiste. “Usually we do lots of bows and ribbons, there’s fantasy everywhere, but this feels like the inspiration was interjecting a bit of Americana into the LoveShackFancy girl,” he explains. “I wanted the hair to feel sophisticated but not feel old and dated.”

Square Nails

At Kim Shui, square nails were also in style. “Kim’s vision this season was very feminine and ethereal, so I wanted the nails to reflect that same spirit while also pushing design boundaries,” says celebrity nail artist Sojin Oh. “Kijibae strips gave me the opportunity to bring K-Beauty backstage and experiment with artistry and structure in a way that was still practical for the runway. Prep was incredibly efficient too—instead of spending hours hand-painting each nail, we simply applied the strips to the tips, which made the process seamless.”
Square Nails
