Claudia Schiffer\u2019s relationship with Chlo\u00e9 goes all the way back to the \u201990s, when she took to the catwalk for the French fashion house under the helm of Karl Lagerfeld. \u201cThat free-spirited feeling of femininity is what I love, and also how wearable it is,\u201d the supermodel tells Vogue<\/em> ahead of the brand\u2019s spring\/summer 2026 show at Paris Fashion Week. In fact, she recently re-wore several Chlo\u00e9 dresses from her personal archive over the summer. \u201cI pulled out lots of lace and hand-knitted dresses to wear this last summer for fun occasions,\u201d Schiffer, who also starred in the brand\u2019s high summer 2025 campaign, continues. \u201cThis was very much my Chlo\u00e9 summer.\u201d<\/p>\n

For today\u2019s show, Schiffer is wearing a look from Chemena Kamali\u2019s spring\/summer 2026 collection: a black knotted blazer with strong shoulders, a peach camisole, matching jeans and heeled mules, along with a mini Paddington bag. It marks an expansion of the Chlo\u00e9 world that Kamali has built thus far during her first two seasons in charge. \u201cIt\u2019s exciting to see that the new direction is slightly different,\u201d the German model says of the new offering, inspired by Gaby Aghion\u2019s first Chlo\u00e9 collection during the \u201950s, and the brand\u2019s vintage floral prints from the era.<\/p>\n

In many ways, Schiffer\u2019s front-row look is reflective of her day-to-day approach to fashion, which relies on much-loved investment pieces that she\u2019s owned for years. \u201cI choose outfits that feel effortless to me most of the time: denim coupled with jumpers and blouses; items that can easily transition from day to night,\u201d she explains. \u201cI don\u2019t follow trends. Great quality [and] craftsmanship\u00a0\u2013 that\u2019s really important to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Luckily, Schiffer has an extensive archive to dip into, full of cherished pieces from the \u201990s: Azzedine Ala\u00efa bodysuits, statement-making Versace belts, Chanel blazers, and those aforementioned Lagerfeld-era Chlo\u00e9 dresses. \u201cI\u2019m that kind of person that finds it difficult to part with things,\u201d she admits. \u201cI keep everything for the memory of it all.\u201d<\/p>\n

It seems that Schiffer\u2019s daughters, Clementine, 21, and Cosima, 15, have already inherited her mother\u2019s love of fashion, with her eldest actually recently completing an internship at\u00a0\u2013 where else?! \u2013 Chlo\u00e9. \u201cI often don\u2019t find my old vintage stuff because it\u2019s in their wardrobe somewhere,\u201d Schiffer laughs. \u201cThey are obsessed; they absolutely love it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
