<strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.deloitte.com\/cy\/en\/atr-2025\">transparency report<\/a><\/strong>, covering the period from June 1, 2024, to May 31, 2025, providing an overview of the firm\u2019s performance and governance during this time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDeloitte\u2019s role in <strong>fostering trust and confidence in the Cyprus market<\/strong>, in supporting clients, empowering its people, and making a positive societal impact, at the same time emphasising the firm\u2019s steadfast dedication to its values and how these are reflected in meaningful everyday practice,\u201d the company said in an announcement. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn today\u2019s challenging economic environment, <strong>transparency is the foundation of trust <\/strong>and our guide through uncertainty,\u201d said Pieris Markou, CEO of Deloitte Cyprus. \u201cBy leading with <strong>openness and integrity<\/strong>, we continue to make an impact that matters \u2013 to make better futures for all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur focus on accountability, <strong>proactive strategies<\/strong>, and providing valuable insights to our clients, our team, and society underscores the culture of transparency we cultivate within our organisation,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n<p>Markou also said that \u201cthis ethos drives <strong>openness<\/strong>, <strong>innovation<\/strong>, and <strong>collaboration<\/strong>, fostering trust and delivering outstanding value to our stakeholders\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>According to the firm, the financial year ending May 31, 2025, marked another year of \u201c<strong>resilience<\/strong>, <strong>innovation<\/strong>, and <strong>sustainable growth<\/strong>\u201d for Deloitte Cyprus, despite ongoing global and local geopolitical and economic uncertainties.<\/p>\n<p>The firm achieved <strong>record gross revenues of \u20ac58.8 million<\/strong>, representing a <strong>5.2 per cent increase <\/strong>from the previous year, while contributing \u20ac15.9 million to state revenues.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSuch success reflects the exceptional dedication of our people, who have <strong>thrived in a workplace grounded in equity<\/strong>, <strong>fairness<\/strong>, and <strong>inclusivity<\/strong>,\u201d Markou said.<\/p>\n<p>The report also highlighted the firm\u2019s focus on innovation and technological adoption, including digitalisation, artificial intelligence, and generative AI.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRecognising the important role of digitalisation, AI and generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), it <strong>embraced such technologies<\/strong>, and it continues to innovate through technology to meet evolving client needs, enhancing the experience for both clients and people,\u201d the firm said. <\/p>\n<p>Deloitte also stressed its commitment to <strong>embedding ESG principles <\/strong>across its operations to strengthen sustainability and competitiveness.<\/p>\n<p>The firm further stated that it <strong>continues to engage with wider societal challenges<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cGuided by Deloitte\u2019s global <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.deloitte.com\/cy\/en\/about\/story\/impact.html\">WorldImpact<\/a> programme, the firm channelled almost <strong>\u20ac600,000 back into society <\/strong>during the financial year, supporting ambitious educational and environmental programmes, diversity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and partnered with organisations that share its corporate responsibility and sustainability values to address societal challenges,\u201d the company stated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDeloitte\u2019s priorities align with public goals for <strong>innovation<\/strong>, <strong>digitalisation<\/strong>, <strong>green economy<\/strong>, and sector focus, and emphasises the need for continuous enhancement of accounting and auditing standards, transparency, technological adoption, and active engagement in institutional and economic development,\u201d it added. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith a strong sense of responsibility, Deloitte will continue to strive to <strong>lead by example within the professional services sector <\/strong>and acknowledges its vital role both in the sector but also in societal advancement,\u201d the announcement concluded.
