Neil Joseph Stephen Fraser was born in Georgetown, Guyana\u2014or British Guiana as tt was known as in 1955\u2014on the 27th of March. He is the owner of Ariwa Sounds. Ariwa is one of the longest running black music companies, spanning four decades, with a catalogue of over 350 titles,\u00a0 and certainly one of the largest black-owned recording facilities in the world!<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">This is the chronological story of the journey of a reluctant artist, whose role within the music industry has changed from A&amp;R, engineer, musician, producer, manager, tour coordinator, banker, psychologist and many more! A journey that took him from the tiny cottage of Charlestown\u2014a working-class part of Georgetown, Guyana\u2014to Australia, the Philippines, Japan and many more!!<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">This is also about youth empowerment. In an era of youth violence, this is a reminder of a time when teenage youth were more attracted to their common factors than their differences.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">The Frontline concert in 1976 st the Lyceum with the Mighty Diamonds, U-Roy, the Gladiators, Sly Dunbar, and Lloyd Parks. Everytime we eat fruits we acknowledge God\u2019s existence, and show our appreciation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><em>Famous for his work with everyone from Grace Jones to Lee \u201cScratch\u201d Perry\u00a0to Massive Attack, Mad professor plays a special\u00a0<\/em>Live AV in Dub<em> show at the Chan Centre on October 5 as part of the Vancouver International Film Festival.\u00a0Part of VIFF LIve, the Chan EXP co-presentaion will spotlight Mad Professor&#8217;s 1995 album <\/em>No Protection<em>, which featured dub remixes of Massive Attack\u2019s sophomore album <\/em>Protection<em>. Also included will be remixes of song from Massive Attack\u2019s <\/em>Mezzanine<em>, as well as visuals from Vancouver interdisciplinary artist Saghi Ehteshamzadeh.
