What\u2019s In Your Fridge is where the\u00a0<\/em>Straight\u00a0asks interesting Vancouverites, and Vancouver vistors, about their life-changing concerts, favourite albums, and, most importantly, what\u2019s sitting beside the Heinz ketchup in their custom-made Big Chill Retropolitan 20.6-cubic-foot refrigerators.<\/em><\/p>\n

Mad Professor<\/a><\/p>\n

Who am I? Neil Joseph Stephen Fraser was born in Georgetown, Guyana\u2014or British Guiana as tt was known as in 1955\u2014on the 27th of March. He is the owner of Ariwa Sounds. Ariwa is one of the longest running black music companies, spanning four decades, with a catalogue of over 350 titles,\u00a0 and certainly one of the largest black-owned recording facilities in the world!<\/p>\n

This is the chronological story of the journey of a reluctant artist, whose role within the music industry has changed from A&R, engineer, musician, producer, manager, tour coordinator, banker, psychologist and many more! A journey that took him from the tiny cottage of Charlestown\u2014a working-class part of Georgetown, Guyana\u2014to Australia, the Philippines, Japan and many more!!<\/p>\n

This is also about youth empowerment. In an era of youth violence, this is a reminder of a time when teenage youth were more attracted to their common factors than their differences.<\/p>\n
